"Buddy"

That's me, at your service. My fascination on how a film camera worked started way back in high school. That eventually led me to tinker with cameras & take loads of photos. I made some monies shooting class pictures in college and it helped cover part of my tuition fee and photography hobby.

I hold a B.A. degree in Psychology and was able to put it to practice for around six years in a school and later on in a corporate setting altogether. But even then, I still had my hands on a camera and tried to earn from it... and later made a decision to go-for-it, professionally.

You see, with regard to taking photographs the quote: "What you see is what you get", hung over my head for some reason. One fateful day, a sudden shift in my visual perception of everything changed... "There's got to be more to this." And that was when I realized, "What you see is what you get used to."

In my line of work, I've encountered countless subjects who have no idea, whatsoever, of how beautiful they can be. And I feel committed to bring out that beauty which has been hiding deep within all this time. I keep remembering, "There's got to be more to this."

And yes, that's a thinking boot (as opposed to my thinking cap) on my head. Ü
